This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, renewals, and gift memberships work for GetMyRecipe.com.
1. Annual Memberships
GetMyRecipe.com currently offers annual memberships only.
A paid membership gives you access to member-only recipe content while your membership is active and your account is in good standing.
2. Refund Requests
You may request a refund after purchase by emailing us at:
Refund requests must be made within the first 6 months of your annual membership term.
If your refund request is approved, the refund will be a full refund, and your membership access will end immediately once the refund is processed.
3. Refund Processing Time
Please allow up to 14 days for refund requests to be reviewed and processed.
Depending on your payment method, bank, card issuer, Stripe, PayPal, or another payment processor, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to appear in your account after we process it.
4. No Refunds After 6 Months
Refunds are not available after 6 months of an annual membership term.
Because GetMyRecipe.com memberships are annual, the 6-month point represents more than half of the membership period. After that point, members have had access to more than 50% of the annual service period, and the membership is no longer eligible for a refund.
You may still turn off auto-renewal at any time.
5. What to Include in a Refund Request
To request a refund, email kyle@getmyrecipe.com and include:

The email address connected to your account

The purchase date

The reason for your refund request
We may ask for additional information if needed to locate your account, verify the purchase, or review the request.
6. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds will be processed through the refund options available through the original payment processor, such as Stripe or PayPal.
We cannot guarantee that every payment method will support every type of refund. Refunds are subject to the tools, timing, and limitations provided by Stripe, PayPal, or the applicable payment processor.
7. Access Ends After a Refund
If your refund is approved and processed, your paid membership access will end immediately.
This means you will no longer be able to access member-only recipes or other paid membership content unless you purchase a new membership.
8. Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are separate.
You may cancel your membership or turn off auto-renewal at any time from your account dashboard.
If you cancel auto-renewal, your membership will remain active until the end of your current paid annual term. You will not be charged again at the next renewal date unless you reactivate or purchase a new membership.
Canceling auto-renewal does not automatically create a refund.
9. Renewals
GetMyRecipe.com memberships renew annually unless auto-renewal is turned off before the renewal date.
We may send a renewal reminder approximately 30 days before your annual renewal date.
It is your responsibility to cancel or turn off auto-renewal before your renewal date if you do not want your membership to renew.
10. Gift Memberships
Gift memberships follow the same refund rules as regular annual memberships.
Only the purchaser of a gift membership may request a refund because the payment is connected to the purchaser’s account and payment method.
If a gift membership refund is approved, access to the gift membership will end immediately.
The purchaser remains responsible for annual billing unless they cancel or turn off auto-renewal, even if the gift recipient does not activate the gifted account.
11. Fraud, Abuse, and Policy Violations
GetMyRecipe.com reserves the right to deny a refund request if we suspect fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, account misuse, violation of our Terms, or other improper use of the service.
Examples may include, but are not limited to:

Repeated refund requests

Suspicious payment activity

Unauthorized payment use

Abuse of gift memberships

Attempts to access paid content without payment

Violation of account or membership rules
12. No Physical Returns
GetMyRecipe.com is a digital membership service. We do not sell physical products through the membership service, so there are no physical returns.
