Welcome to GetMyRecipe.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

GetMyRecipe.com is built to be a clean, ad-free recipe membership site for people who cook at home. We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it. We do not use affiliate links, sponsored content, third-party display ads, or consumer-harassment products inside the recipe experience.

Our goal is simple: provide members with useful recipes while collecting only what we need to operate the website, process memberships, protect accounts, improve the service, and communicate with users.

1. Who We Are

GetMyRecipe.com is intended for users in the United States and is not designed for international customers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few basic ways: information you provide, information created through your account or membership activity, and information collected automatically through the website and related tools.

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect basic account information such as:

  • Email address

  • Username

  • Password

  • Membership status

  • Account preferences

  • Email preferences

  • Basic profile details needed to operate your account

Users can update certain account details from their account dashboard. If you cannot update something yourself, you may contact us at kyle@getmyrecipe.com.

Membership and Transaction Information

GetMyRecipe.com offers paid annual memberships. Memberships are handled through WordPress, Paid Memberships Pro, Stripe, and PayPal.

We may store or process membership-related information such as:

  • Membership level

  • Membership start date

  • Renewal date

  • Cancellation status

  • Payment history

  • Invoices

  • Transaction records

  • Coupon or promotion code usage, if a code is used

  • Gift membership records

  • Renewal reminder records

Members can view their membership status, payment history, invoices, and billing-related details from their account area.

We do not store full credit card numbers on GetMyRecipe.com. Payment details are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Those providers may collect and process information under their own privacy policies and systems, which are outside our direct control.

Billing Information

Stripe, PayPal, and related payment systems may collect billing information needed to process membership purchases, renewals, refunds, tax-related requirements, fraud prevention, and payment security.

This may include details such as billing name, billing email, billing address, phone number if required for billing, payment method details, transaction identifiers, and other payment-related information.

GetMyRecipe.com does not use physical mailing addresses to send mail.

Gift Membership Information

If someone purchases a gift membership, the purchaser may provide the recipient’s email address so the recipient can receive or claim the gift membership.

Gift recipients receive necessary gift and account-related emails. They are not automatically added to marketing emails unless they separately opt in.

The purchaser remains responsible for annual billing unless they cancel the gift membership, even if the recipient does not activate the account.

Email Information

GetMyRecipe.com sends several types of emails.

Account and membership emails may include:

We may keep records showing that emails were sent, delivered, opened, clicked, unsubscribed from, or otherwise interacted with. These records help us troubleshoot delivery issues, honor email preferences, and avoid emailing people who opted out.

Marketing emails are managed through ActiveCampaign. Account-related emails are sent by the website and related plugins.

Survey Information

From time to time, GetMyRecipe.com may invite users to participate in optional surveys.

Survey responses are intended to be anonymous unless a survey clearly says otherwise or asks for contact information. Survey results may be stored and used to improve GetMyRecipe.com, recipes, features, pricing, and the user experience.

We do not sell survey responses.

Social Login Information

GetMyRecipe.com may allow users to create or access accounts using Google or Facebook login.

If you use social login, the provider may share limited information needed to create or connect your local GetMyRecipe.com account. This may include information such as your name, email address, and provider account identifier.

Social login still creates or connects to a local GetMyRecipe.com account.

We do not intentionally collect social profile photos or extra social profile data unless needed for login functionality.

Automatically Collected Information

We use analytics and marketing tools to understand our own website performance, improve the service, and promote GetMyRecipe.com. We do not sell user profiles to outside companies.

Some tools, including Google, Meta, Stripe, PayPal, ActiveCampaign, social login providers, and other technical service providers, may process limited information as needed to provide their services. These providers operate under their own systems and policies.

9. Comments, Reviews, Ratings, Favorites, and Uploads

GetMyRecipe.com does not currently allow:

  • Public comments

  • Recipe ratings

  • Reviews

  • Public member profiles

  • Member directories

  • User recipe uploads

  • User image uploads

  • Favorites

  • Saved recipe folders

Because these features are not currently offered, we do not collect public comment data, Gravatar data, user-uploaded recipe images, review content, or public profile information.

10. Recipe Access

All recipes on GetMyRecipe.com are behind a paywall and are available only to logged-in paid members.

Users may personally print or screenshot recipes for their own use, but GetMyRecipe.com does not currently offer a separate recipe download system.

11. Nutrition and Allergy Information

Recipe nutrition information on GetMyRecipe.com is approximate and provided for general informational purposes only.

Nutrition information is not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be used for medically prescribed diets, allergy management, medical nutrition planning, or any medical purpose.

Users with allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or medically prescribed nutrition needs should consult a qualified professional and verify all ingredients and nutrition information independently.

GetMyRecipe.com does not intentionally collect or store user health, diet, allergy, or food preference profiles.

12. AI-Generated Images

GetMyRecipe.com may use AI-generated images for visual presentation on some recipes.

These images are used for presentation only. Recipe content is human reviewed before publishing.

GetMyRecipe.com does not offer user-facing AI features at launch.

13. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect user information and maintain the security of GetMyRecipe.com.

Security practices may include:

  • Strong password requirements

  • reCAPTCHA and automated spam checks

  • Login protection

  • Limits or temporary blocks after repeated failed login attempts

  • Security monitoring

  • Access controls

  • Admin two-factor authentication

  • Limited admin access

  • Server, access, and error logs

Admin access is tightly controlled and limited to people who need it.

Outside contractors or technical service providers may sometimes help maintain, repair, secure, or improve the website. They may only access data when needed for that work and are not permitted to copy, sell, disclose, or use site data for their own purposes.

If you cancel or delete your account, your access may end, but certain account, membership, transaction, and billing records may be retained for as long as required or permitted by law.

When information is no longer needed or legally required, we may delete it, reduce it, or retain it only in limited form.

17. Account Deletion

Deleting an account will end account access and paid membership access.

Some records may be retained when required or permitted by law, including transaction records, billing records, security records, and administrative records.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to request that we:

20. Children and Teens

GetMyRecipe.com is not intended for children under 13.

Users must confirm that they are at least 13 years old before creating an account. GetMyRecipe.com does not collect birthdates or exact age information.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before creating a paid account, using a payment method, or purchasing a membership.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it, unless we are legally required to retain certain records.

21. International Users

GetMyRecipe.com is intended for users in the United States only and is not designed for international customers.

Some service providers, including payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, social login providers, and technical tools, may process information in the United States or other countries. We do not control the internal processing locations or policies of those providers.

22. Account Sharing

GetMyRecipe.com does not currently prohibit account sharing, but we encourage users to maintain individual accounts to support the brand and help keep the platform ad-free and built for users.

If you choose to share your login, anyone using your account may be able to view or change account details available in the dashboard, including membership and billing-related account information. You are responsible for keeping your login information safe.

23. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as GetMyRecipe.com changes, as tools change, or as legal requirements change.

When we update this policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page.

If changes are significant, we may notify users by email or through the website.
